Chemotherapy
WDMH is a satellite chemotherapy site of The Ottawa Hospital Regional Cancer Centre (TOHRCC). A team of health care professionals manages your care. The nurses, doctors and pharmacy team have all received specialized training in cancer care at TOHRCC.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow for registration You may bring one family or friend to sit with you during your treatment
We encourage you to bring with you:
- bottled water, snacks/lunch
- blanket for comfort and warmth
- books, ipad/laptop or a magazine to help pass the time
We ask that you have blood work done 24-48 hours prior to the chemotherapy appointment.
Should you have any concerns about your appointments please call us at 613-774-2422 ext. 6791.
For concerns of an urgent nature, such as fever, sudden shortness of breath or pain, please visit our Emergency Department.
