The Giving Gallery

The WDMH Foundation is launching The Giving Gallery, a vibrant display of local art in the hallway between the main lobby and Diagnostic Imaging.

Artists' work will be showcased, shared with the community, and available for purchase, with some of the proceeds supporting the WDMH Foundation.

Paintings, photographs, and hanging mixed media art will be considered.

If creating is your passion and community is close to your heart, we'd love to hear from you.

Our Greatest Need for WDMH:
Laparoscopic System

Nearly half of the surgeries performed at WDMH rely on one essential piece of equipment: the laparoscopic system, which acts as the surgeon’s eyes. After 17 years of use, this critical tool is reaching the end of its life, and the image quality is no longer where it needs to be, making procedures more challenging and patient care more complex. While this technology is vital, the provincial government does not fund medical equipment for hospitals, which is why community support is so important. Right now, you can help by giving today and doubling your impact, as every donation will be matched up to $10,000 thanks to a generous donor. Your generosity helps keep patients safe and ensures our teams have the tools they need to provide the very best care, when it matters most, thank you for caring for your hospital, your community, and every life we serve.

You can help make these spaces feel like home by supporting the purchase of 128 hospital-grade Smart TVs, designed to provide comfort, entertainment, and meaningful connection to loved ones. With large, easy-to-view screens and smart technology, these TVs will enhance daily life by making it easier for residents to enjoy favourite programs, stay informed, and connect with family and friends. Thanks to a generous matching donor, your gift will be doubled, up to $10,000, maximizing your impact. Please consider making a donation today to help bring comfort, choice, and dignity to every resident room.
