Caring Beyond the Course
September 02, 2026
Good weather, great company, and a
shared commitment to patient care made for a winning day at the WDMH Staff Golf
Tournament.
Hosted
by Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) staff on September 13th,
the tournament raised $1,216 in support of the WDMH Foundation's General
Equipment Fund, helping ensure patients have the care they need close to home,
and that staff and physicians have the equipment they need to provide it.
The event brought together 33 golfers
for a day of friendly competition, fun games, laughs, and a 50/50 draw that saw
one lucky participant take home $355.
"It's inspiring to see WDMH staff
come together to support patient care in this way," said Cindy Ault
Peters, Executive Director of the WDMH Foundation. "The generosity and
enthusiasm shown throughout the day will make a real difference for patients
and their families."
The WDMH Foundation extends its thanks
to the organizing committee, golfers, volunteers, and everyone who helped make
the tournament a success.
From tee-off to the final putt, WDMH
staff showed that caring for patients doesn't stop when the workday ends.
