Tree-mendous Generosity

The
28th Annual Judy Lannin Christmas Wish Tree raised an incredible $77,136.80 in
support of patient care at WDMH, thanks to the generosity of our community.
Every
ornament placed on the tree carried a story. Some honoured loved ones, others celebrated
special moments, and all reflected the kindness that defines our community.
Together, those ornaments turned the hospital lobby into a welcoming space
filled with warmth, comfort, and connection throughout the winter.
The
Wish Tree began with the vision of Judy Lannin, who wished to bring reassurance
and hope to patients and families by celebrating the people we hold dear. Twenty-eight
years later, that vision continues to shine, thanks to the continued support of
donors, volunteers, staff, and community partners who come together year after
year.
The
WDMH Foundation extends its sincere thanks to everyone who donated, shared the
campaign, attended the tree‑lighting, or supported the Wish Tree in any way.
Your kindness helps make a real difference for patients and families in our
community.
