Stroke Program

WDMH partners with The Ottawa Hospital and Cornwall Community Hospital to provide stroke care. There are protocols in place to manage cerebral vascular accidents (CVA) and transient ischemic attacks (TIA).

Learn the signs of stroke:

FAST

Face – is it drooping?

Arms – can you raise both?

Speech – is it slurred or jumbled?

Time – to call 911 right away
