Lung Screening Program

Lung Screening Program

The Ontario Lung Screening Program at WDMH aims to help patients find cancer earlier when there are more treatment options. The program at WDMH is offered in collaboration with The Champlain Regional Cancer Program as part of the Ontario Lung Screening Program.

Patients can access the screening through their family doctor or nurse practitioner or by self-referring to the program.

They must be between 55 and 74 years of age and have smoked cigarettes every day for at least 20 years during their lifetime.

For more information and to access the referral form, visit the Cancer Care Ontario website.
