Your Safety Is Our Priority
Visitor Guidelines
To keep our vulnerable patients and healthcare workers safe, visitor restrictions are still in place as per the chart below. If you have any questions, please call 613-774-2420 and ask to be connected with the Patient Unit or Department.
Masking for patients and visitors is optional at WDMH, but it is strongly recommended in all clinical areas of the hospital including the Emergency Department and patient rooms. Masks are available at the entrances and in clinical areas. Anyone who feels unwell or is symptomatic should wear a mask to limit transmission. Please do not come to the hospital to visit patients if you are sick.
Coming to the Hospital
Hospital Entrances:
- Please enter through the main hospital entrance (weekdays from 6:30 am to 8:30 pm) and the Emergency entrance (at all other times) and review the self-screening questionnaire.
- Visitors must go to the Nursing Unit before going to the patient’s room.
Self-Screening
For your convenience, please review these pre-screening questions and ensure you can answer 'no' to all of the questions. If any of your answers are 'yes', please call the WDMH Department before coming.
