Patient Satisfaction Results for 2025

Winchester District Memorial Hospital is proud to share its 2025 patient satisfaction results. Based on feedback from 3,559 patients we are happy to report that the majority were very satisfied with the care and services they received.

Patient satisfaction reflects the entire hospital experience. It includes every interaction and every service a patient receives, from clinical care and support to administrative assistance and service from a friendly volunteer.

Here’s how patients rated their overall satisfaction:

  • Day Surgery: 94%
  • Maternity: 94%
  • Medical/Surgical: 91%
  • Emergency: 85%

“It’s a team effort, and we are proud of the results,” said Cholly Boland, CEO. “Patient satisfaction is the result of collaboration across every department, and we’re proud to see that commitment recognized.”

WDMH surveys are offered online, through a link sent by email. A percentage of patients who provide an email and consent during registration receive an invitation to rate their overall experience and the information they receive on discharge.
